Broke

Meaning/Usage: To have no money

"I can't afford to buy that television. I'm totally broke."
"I can't pay my bills. I'm broke."

A: "Let's go see a movie."
B: "I can't. I barely have enough money for food. I'm broke until my next paycheck."
